The Tamiya M-07R Chassis Kit is a high-performance front-wheel-drive chassis designed for serious racers and enthusiasts who demand the best. This innovative chassis features a rigid monocoque construction with lower deck and upper frame sections, providing exceptional durability and responsive handling. The M-07R is designed for easy maintenance, with features like an easy-access differential that can be removed from the underside with minimal disassembly.
The chassis boasts a range of advanced features that enhance its performance and versatility. C.V.A. (Constant Volume Adjustable) oil shock-damped 4-wheel double wishbone suspension, with dedicated long arms and steering linkage components, offers a wide range of setup options for fine-tuning the car's handling characteristics. The drivetrain is incredibly smooth thanks to full ball bearings, an oil-filled gear differential unit, and universal drive shafts. The M-07R can be assembled with either a 225mm (M) or 239mm (L) wheelbase, making it compatible with a variety of existing Tamiya M-chassis body parts sets. With its combination of performance, versatility, and ease of maintenance, the Tamiya M-07R Chassis Kit is the perfect choice for serious RC enthusiasts.
The suspension arms and linkages are designed for maximum articulation, with an optimised damper lever ratio and adjustable camber angle for precise handling and control.
The car is designed for easy maintenance, with convenient access to the differential gear from the bottom of the chassis. This simplifies differential servicing and reduces the time spent on repairs.
The car comes standard with an oil-filled gear differential and universal shafts, ensuring smooth and efficient power transfer for optimal performance and durability.
The front suspension is engineered for precision and performance, featuring TRF special dampers, double cardan drive shafts, aluminium cup joints, and aluminium hexagonal hubs. Reinforced suspension arms and uprights enhance durability, while the rear suspension includes a stabilizer for added stability. A dedicated carbon battery holder provides a secure and lightweight mounting solution.
The car's chassis features a high-traction lower deck that optimizes grip and handling. This design promotes controlled twisting, improving road tracking and allowing the car to maintain speed through corners.
The core of the chassis is a 1-piece monocoque with integrated upper frame elements similar to the TA-07 Pro It is designed to offer excellent rigidity with easy maintenance
Choose between 2 different wheelbases (M: 225mm, L: 239mm), simply by changing rear arm attachment direction
