The Tamiya XV-02 Pro Chassis Kit represents a new era in rally car performance. This innovative 1/10 scale chassis builds upon the success of the XV-01 Pro, taking its 4WD drivetrain in a bold new direction with a shaft-driven system and front mid-ship motor placement. The XV-02 Pro is designed for versatility and performance, allowing you to conquer tarmac and gravel with equal ease.

The XV-02 Pro features a range of advanced design elements that enhance its handling and durability. The shaft-driven 4WD system, with equal length front and rear propeller shafts, provides smooth and efficient power delivery to all four wheels. The chassis layout is optimised for balance and stability, ensuring precise control and responsiveness on any surface. With its combination of innovative engineering and proven Tamiya quality, the XV-02 Pro Chassis Kit is the ultimate choice for serious rally enthusiasts.

High Torque Steering Servo Assembly

The steering system is designed for precision and durability. The turnbuckle steering rod allows for easy adjustments, while the aluminium servo mount and high-torque servo saver provide a secure and reliable setup.

Double Wishbone Suspension

The double wishbone suspension, both front and rear, delivers exceptional handling and adjustability. The front features a 6-degree caster angle, long aluminium oil dampers, and turnbuckle upper arms. The rear suspension can be further customised with the optional OP.539 aluminium spacer set for adjusting the upper arm mounting position.

Centre Mount Spur Gear

The centrally located spur gear distributes power evenly to the front and rear wheels via equal-length aluminium propeller shafts, ensuring balanced performance and efficient power transfer.

Oil Filled Differentials

High-performance oil-filled gear differentials, housed in sealed gearboxes, provide smooth and consistent power transfer while improving durability and protecting the gears from the elements.

Vertically Mounted Battery Tray

The vertically mounted battery pack is cleverly rotated 90 degrees to minimise chassis width, improving agility and handling. The battery can be easily replaced by opening the front and rear holders.

Rally Style Wheels

The car's wheels and tyres are a perfect blend of classic design and off-road performance. Dish wheels and rally block tyres provide the grip and style needed to tackle a variety of terrains.
