Academy 1/48 USAAF P-40N "Battle of Imphal" Fighter Scaled Plastic Model Kit

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was one of the most important American fighter aircraft of the Second World War, serving on all fronts. The P-40N variant was the fastest and most agile of the series, produced in the greatest numbers and serving extensively in the Pacific and China-Burma-India theatres. It played a crucial role during the pivotal Battle of Imphal in 1944, helping to halt the Japanese advance into India and turning the tide of the Burma Campaign.

This 1/48 scale model kit from Academy allows you to build a detailed replica of this rugged WWII fighter. The kit features an accurately detailed cockpit and landing gear, complemented by precisely engraved panel lines and rivets that will stand out under a coat of paint. With three different marking options for aircraft that served with the 10th and 5th Air Forces in India and New Guinea, this is a fantastic tribute to the Warhawk and its pilots.
