Instead of a traditional slipper clutch, an overload coupling (torque limiter) is included to minimise maintenance and protect the transmission from excessive torque during hard landings or high-power acceleration.

The durable chassis features ventilation to help keep electronic components cool. Large side guards offer increased protection from dirt and debris. Stealth monochrome electronics provide a sleek look, and the battery straps are adjustable to accommodate your preferred 2S LiPo hardcase battery.

The TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 racing buggy body features a secure and convenient hidden clipless body retention system. The body is available in bold, factory-finished colour schemes and includes a high downforce wing for enhanced stability.

Worry-free bashing in various conditions is ensured by the installed high-quality, waterproof Spektrum electronics. The SLT 2-in-1 40A ESC/Receiver is LiPo-ready, and precise steering is delivered by a powerful S661 metal-gear digital servo producing 8.8 kg-cm (125 oz-in) of torque at 6V.

The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter offers comfortable, fatigue-free bashing with a foam steering wheel for precise fingertip control. Less experienced drivers can utilise the throttle limiting switch to set the maximum speed at 50% or 75% until they are ready for the buggy's full potential.

The TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 buggy features a faster and more powerful 14-turn MEGA 665 High Speed Brushed Motor, which is 11% larger than its predecessor's 550-size motor. An aluminium motor heatsink and 35mm motor cooling fan are included to improve efficiency and performance.

The all-terrain independent suspension and oil-filled, coil-over shocks on the TYPHON MEGA 665 4x4 racing buggy effectively absorb bumps and provide smooth handling. The ride height can be adjusted to increase ground clearance for tackling uneven surfaces.

The multi-surface dBoots 2-HO tread pattern tyres deliver excellent traction in all conditions. Vent holes in the tyres allow air to move in and out, improving traction and allowing water and dirt to escape. These tyres are mounted on tough nylon multi-spoke pattern wheels with foam inserts for enhanced grip and handling.
