The SCX10 III range has a chassis that is built on a foundation of strength with sturdy steel C-channel frame rails. This rigid design minimises flex, resulting in more precise suspension movement and improved handling on challenging terrain.
The front suspension geometry of the Base Camp is optimised to reduce bump steer, while the rear 4-link reduces torque twist.
The Base Camp is equipped with 120mm tall Falken Wildpeak tyres with R35 compound for exceptional grip on dirt, rocks, and various off-road terrains. These tyres are mounted on stylish Black Rhino one-piece wheels, providing increased ground clearance and a rugged look. This combination enhances the vehicle's off-road capabilities, allowing you to tackle challenging trails with confidence.
The SCX10 III features a robust LCXU 4-wheel drive transmission built for lasting performance. With a full set of ball bearings and all-metal internal gears, this transmission is engineered for strength and durability, whether you're running standard or portal axles.

The included SLT3 3-channel radio system offers reliable 2.4GHz control with user-adjustable features like steering and throttle trims, steering rate, and throttle limits. The SR315 DSMR 3-channel sport receiver provides a seamless upgrade path to higher-channel Spektrum transmitters like the DX5C, DX5 Rugged, or DX5 Pro, allowing you to expand your control options as your skills grow.
