Overview

The Daihatsu Mira is a well-known example of Japan's "Kei-car" category, vehicles defined by their compact size and efficient design. While many versions focused on economy, the TR-XX was the sporty, turbocharged "hot hatch" variant of the Mira. With its improved performance and distinct styling, it was popular with driving enthusiasts in the Japanese domestic market.

This 1/24 scale kit from Fujimi is a welcome return of this classic K-car and includes a wide range of customisation options right out of the box. The kit is designed as a snap-on model that does not require adhesive for the main assembly, making it a straightforward project for builders of all skill levels, including those new to car modelling.
