• Reproduction of this legendary rear-motor 4WD buggy is enhanced with the latest technology to become the 15th model of the Kyosho Vintage series
• Stylish and aerodynamic body and underbody faithfully capture the look and spirit of the original
• Cut lines for attaching the Javelin wing are moulded into the body
• Belt-type 4WD system produces excellent drive efficiency and reliability. Can be changed to chain-drive by switching to (OT226) chain (sold separately)
• Uses current standard 48-pitch pinion & spur gear, different to the original
• Equipped with a slipper clutch to support high output motors and prevent gear damage
• Moulded resin radio plate recreates the form of the original
• Battery is secured using a hook-and-loop fastener and is suitable for modern battery sizes
• Drive system includes ball bearings throughout
• Hex screws deliver improved efficiency and appearance
• Compatible with various optional parts for the Vintage Series
• Each part is compatible with the original model and spare parts from the original model can also be used

Belt Drive

Originally an optional part on the original, this Optima comes with a low friction belt drive that provides greater efficiency to the drivetrain compared to the original metal chain. However if you like the old school feel of the metal chain this kit is compatible with the OT226 Chain.

Race Spec Suspension

Proven in the Turbo Optima, high-rigidity suspension arms deliver superior driving stability and welcome the intensity of hard driving. Long front swing shafts remain secure even at full suspension stroke and enhance reliability when combined with the robust suspension arms.

Rear Motor Layout

Replicating the original Optima Pro, This version has made careful upgrades to the design to ensure that it can handle the power of today's advanced electronics. With a tactically placed rear mount motor design and subtle changes to the chassis itself, this reborn hero can be built to be an absolute monster.

Top & Bottom Shell

The Optima Pro features a unique top and bottom polycarbonate shell. Creating a highly aerodynamic profile, this top and bottom combination also helps protect the electronics and chassis from dirt, debris, and damage.

Aluminium Shock Absorbers

Anodised in a stunning Gunmetal grey, the Optima Pro is equipped with high quality, height adjustable coil over shock absorbers that provide a race spec level of dampening and a high level of tuning.

High Performance Shock Towers

Featuring a resin moulded front shock tower and a super tough gunmetal grey aluminium rear shock tower, the Optima Pro provides a quality steering experience.
