When choosing a remote controller for your Tamiya semi truck, you need to decide whether you want to use a MFU (Multi Function Unit). Your choice is between an analogue or digital trimmed 4-channel radio.

• If you plan on using your Tamiya semi without an MFU, you can use either analogue or digital.
• If you plan on using your Tamiya semi with an MFU, you can only use an analogue remote controller (e.g. the Tamiya Attack 4YWD).

How to tell if your remote has analogue or digital trim:

• Analogue remote trims slide from one end to the other
• Digital remote trims are switches that click in either direction (no sliding)
