The Tamiya Ford Escort Mk. II RC Rally Car puts the famous racing car in your hands with an engaging build experience. This RC Rally Car uses a tough 4WD system that places the motor at the rear to provide immediate drive through a durable propeller shaft. The stiff monocoque frame houses the internal gearboxes to keep them safe from dust while you send the car into sideways slides on any terrain.
Tuning the handling is easy thanks to the adjustable wheelbase and central battery placement that keeps the weight low. The pre-painted white shell allows you to skip the base coats and start applying the racing stickers immediately to create a custom scale look. Every run feels connected as the rally tyres provide high levels of grip on any surface, while the double wishbone suspension keeps the chassis stable through every tight corner.
The double wishbone suspension, both front and rear, delivers fantastic handling and off-road performance. The tough uprights and hub carriers on the front ensure durability, while friction shock absorbers on the rear provide effective damping action.
The versatile monocoque frame allows you to adjust the wheelbase to suit your driving preferences. By changing the central spacer block and installing a separately sold prop shaft, you can choose between short (210mm), medium (225mm), or long (239mm) wheelbase configurations.
The motor is strategically mounted at the rear of the monocoque frame, providing direct power to the rear wheels via gears. A propeller shaft extends to the front wheels, creating an efficient 4WD system for better traction and control.
