The Frog retains its signature ABS space frame and eye-catching polycarbonate body, now enhanced with diaphragm-type oil-filled shocks and dog-bone type driveshafts for smoother, more efficient power transmission.  The 4-wheel independent suspension, featuring front double-wishbones and rear trailing arms with horizontally mounted oil shocks, delivers exceptional off-road handling.  With its 3-piece rims, grooved front tyres, and spike rear tyres, the Frog is ready to conquer any terrain, just like it did in the 80s.

ABS Chassis

Just like the original, the Tamiya Frog features a tough, lightweight ABS resin space frame, letting it fly over jumps and tear across challenging terrain with legendary durability.

Double Wishbone Suspension

The Tamiya Frog features a sophisticated double wishbone front suspension system.  Springs are cleverly built into the bulkhead, and durable steel radius arms enhance rigidity for superior handling and stability.

Sealed Gearbox

The Tamiya Frog's sealed gearbox houses a reliable differential gear and offers three selectable gear ratios to match any track.  Its dogbone driveshaft features joint boots for long-lasting performance and reduced maintenance.

Layover Suspension

The Tamiya Frog's trailing arm rear suspension, equipped with a smooth aluminium oil damper, ensures stable and predictable handling.  Its strategically positioned battery keeps the centre of gravity low for enhanced cornering and confident jumps.
