The Team Associated Apex2 A550 Rally Car is a stunning tribute to the legendary Group B rally cars of the 1980s. This meticulously detailed 1/10 scale replica captures the essence of these iconic machines, featuring a one-piece four-colour polycarbonate body, injection-moulded mirrors, windshield wipers, light pods, spoiler, headlights, and exhaust. The rally-inspired block tyres and white turbine-style wheels complete the authentic look, transporting you back to the golden age of rally racing.
But the Apex2 A550 isn't just about looks. The Apex2 Sport chassis delivers a smooth and responsive driving experience, thanks to its independent suspension, coil-over shocks, and active rear toe. Whether you're a seasoned rally enthusiast or new to the hobby, the Apex2 A550 is a must-have addition to your collection, offering a perfect blend of scale realism and exhilarating performance.
The Apex2's independent suspension arms on both the front and rear helps you tame even the most technical of tracks, absorbing bumps like a dream while keeping your ride buttery smooth. Taking corners quickly in pure poetry, leaving you in total control!
Plastic body shock absorbers help smooth out the bumps, helping you keep all 4 wheels firmly planted on the ground and giving you the best lap times possible.
The Apex2 comes equipped with the brilliant Reedy SC500X programmable brushed ESC (program card sold separately) and Reedy Sport 550 15-turn 3-slot brushed motor, providing speed and precision while maintaining the reliability expected from a Team Associated vehicle.
Active rear toe-in adapts as you corner, digging your rear wheels deeper into the tarmac for more grip and confidence. Allowing you to take the tightest hairpin turns with a tighter turning radius, cutting off even more time off your lap.
Multiple shock tower mounting points provide precise adjustments to camber, caster, and roll centre. This allows for fine-tuning of suspension geometry for optimal performance on various track conditions.
Sealed from the outside world, the Apex2's sealed centre drive train keeps dust and debris at bay, ensuring silky-smooth power delivery for razor-sharp cornering and laser-focused control on even the most demanding tracks.
