The T-34/76 was a revolutionary Soviet tank that had a decisive impact on World War II. Its combination of sloped armour, powerful firepower, and good mobility was a shock to the German army, leading to the "T-34 Crisis" and forcing them to develop new, more powerful tanks. The Model 1942 incorporated lessons from the battlefield, including a longer-barrelled gun and thicker turret armour.
