Trumpeter 1/16 1943 T-34-76 Medium Tank Scaled Plastic Model Kit
The T-34 tank is the masterpiece of the famous designer Koshkin of the Kharkiv Communist International Factory. At the end of January 1940, the first batch of tanks left the Kharkiv factory's production line and was named T-34/76 Model1940 (T-34/76A). The T-34 tank completed the production drawings in June and was immediately put into mass production. The T-34 tank has an excellent bulletproof appearance, strong firepower and good maneuverability, especially with unparalleled reliability, easy to mass production. It is the best overall design tank during World War II. By the German invasion on June 22, 1941, the Soviet Union had completed 1,225 T-34 tanks, which greatly exceeded the number of tank IVs in the same period. By the eve of the Moscow battle, 1853 T-34s had been delivered to troops.
The T-34/76 tanks mainly have three types: A, B, and C, the most-produced tank types during the Soviet-German War. Over 50,000 T-34 were produced in wartime, far more than the sum of all German tanks, known as the Guarantee of Victory in the Soviet Patriotic War. T-34/76 entered the war for the first time in Grodno, Belarus on June 22, 1941. In the subsequent series of battles, the Germans could not find a tank that could compete. This led to the obsolescence of a large number of German tanks and was forced to launch newer tanks to cope with the situation, known as the "T-34 crisis." However, all types of Soviet tanks, including T-34/76, also have obvious shortcomings. The main reason is that they are not fully equipped with inter-vehicle radio communication equipment. Generally, only one command tank of several T-34s has radio equipment. Contact also relies on semaphores. T-34/76C 1943 is the later model of the T-34/76 series. The turret's design has been improved, and the hull and turret have increased protection, so the weight of the car has increased a lot. The biggest feature of T-34/76C is the 30° angle of inclination at the turret's front. T-34/76C is the main battle force of the Kursk Battle. The battle fights with T-34/76B, KV-1, T-70, etc., against Germany's ?, ?, and the latest Tiger and Panther tank. But this battle also shows that T-34/76 and KV-1 is no longer as good as the new German tanks. The needs of the battlefield have led to the emergence of the T-34/85 and JS series.
