Xpress RC Racing Cars
Founded in 1996 by Sun Sun Model Company, Xpress quickly established itself as one of the few Hong Kong manufacturers to successfully compete in world-class RC racing.
About Xpress RC Racing Cars
Known for their exceptional performance on international circuits and dominance in the Japanese market, Xpress vehicles earned a reputation for flexibility and affordability without compromising quality. Their innovative design philosophy allows racers to easily upgrade and customise cars through interchangeable parts and accessories at competitive price points.
After a transition to Dinball Limited in 2007, which introduced the popular MRR2 and M-Drift models, Xpress entered a new era in 2016 with a renewed focus on hobby-grade RC car kit development. Today, their diverse chassis lineup includes the Execute, Arrow, Dragnalo, GripXero, and Xpresso series—each engineered with input from team drivers and the company's dedicated R&D department.
Beyond their consumer products, Xpress maintains in-house production facilities featuring high-performance CNC milling machines that meet their exacting standards. This manufacturing expertise allows them to offer specialized OEM and ODM services globally while continuing to develop innovative RC solutions that serve the racing community with the same passion that has defined the brand since its inception.
FAQs for Xpress RC Racing Cars
Who are Xpress RC cars aimed at?
Xpress is aimed at 1/10 electric touring car racers who want competition-grade chassis without paying flagship Yokomo or Awesomatix money. It's not an entry-level brand — the cars reward drivers who understand setup, corner weights and diff tuning, so they suit club racers stepping up from a hobby-grade TC to a proper on-road racing platform. Australian touring car racers have found Xpress a strong middle-ground chassis, competitive at club and regional level without the top-shelf price tag.
What sets Xpress apart in touring car racing?
Xpress is a Hong Kong brand that's carved a space in 1/10 on-road by delivering race-ready chassis and strong regional support. Kits are engineered around modern touring car layouts with adjustable geometry, quality bearings and replaceable wear parts. The brand has grown a reputation for being tunable and reliable at competitive pricing, which is why you'll see Xpress cars on club grids across Asia-Pacific, including Australian tracks where they compete against Yokomo, Awesomatix and Xray with respectable results.
Can I get Xpress cars and spares in Australia?
Xpress stock is currently zero and availability varies — please contact us for availability. Spare parts for touring car chassis are where availability matters most, since a broken C-hub or steering block can sideline you for a race weekend. If you're running an Xpress chassis and need specific spares, let us know the kit reference and part number and we'll check what's available to order. For new chassis purchases, lead times depend on incoming shipments from the manufacturer.
Which Xpress cars are most popular?
The Execute and Arrow touring car platforms are the recognisable Xpress models on Australian club grids, with the FT1 1/10 F1 chassis popular in the formula racing scene. Current stock is zero so availability varies — get in touch with the chassis or spare you need and we'll advise on ordering. For regular racers, it's worth stocking up on commonly-broken parts like steering blocks and shock cartridges when they are available, rather than hunting for them mid-season.
