LRP is a premium German RC brand best known for high-quality LiPo packs and its reference-level glow plugs for nitro engines. LRP's RC line-up spans LiPo batteries, chargers, ESCs, motors and glow plugs, though not every part of the range is imported into Australia at any given time. The products we most often see are the Platinum Iridium #T4 and #R5 glow plugs for nitro engines, and selected HV LiPo packs for competitive brushless racing. LRP Platinum Iridium glow plugs are graded by heat range. The #T4 is a medium-turbo plug that suits many 1/8 off-road and on-road nitro engines, while the #R5 is a slightly hotter standard plug aimed at smaller capacity motors and cooler conditions. Always cross-reference your engine manufacturer's recommendation before changing plugs, as the correct heat range depends on fuel nitro content, weather and tuning.
