This is most evident in the innovative lay-down push-rod shock absorbers, a 19mm high topdeck, and under-arm anti-roll bars. Low CG Push-Rod Shock Absorber Design

The SP1 features a lay-down push-rod shock design that significantly lowers the car's centre of gravity. The shock absorber is positioned horizontally and is compressed from both ends via a rocker system. This geometry is highly tuned to provide a progressive feel, similar to a traditional shock, but with much lower CG.

Under-Arm Anti-Roll Bar System

Continuing the low CG design philosophy, the anti-roll bars are mounted beneath the suspension arms. This system also makes adjustments easier than ever. Tweak can be fine-tuned via the ball cup, and the open-style holders allow for very fast changes between the three included anti-roll bar thicknesses.

Adjustable Diff Height and Belt Tension

Fine-tune your car's drivetrain with the composite eccentric system. This allows for two different differential height settings and seven belt tension positions. The eccentrics can be easily rotated to your desired setting once the upper bulkheads are loosened, allowing for quick and simple adjustments to suit any track condition.

High-Quality, Low-Friction Shock Absorbers

The SP1's shock absorbers are made from high-quality, low-friction components. The shock body features a diamond-like coating for smooth, consistent action even under heavy loads. The modern design integrates a soft AXON bladder for simple, air-free assembly. A full range of optional AXON springs are also available.

Lightweight 7075 Aluminium Spool and Diff

The spool and differential are machined from 7075 aluminium for a great balance of light weight and durability. The spider-gear diff features dual internal bearings for low friction, while the spool is a lightweight design. Both units use keyed pulleys to relieve stress from the screws and have hard-coated steel outdrives.

Ultra-Low 19mm High Top Deck

A key feature of the SP1 is its ultra-low 19mm top deck. Lowering the top deck also lowers the height of the bulkheads, motor mount, and hardware, which drastically reduces the car's overall centre of gravity. The 2.25mm thick carbon fibre provides the right amount of flex for this low-profile design.
