The ITP380 uses a classic TO-46 housing thermopile sensor with 116 thermocouples, providing accuracy down to 0.1°F across a temperature range of -40°F to 716°F (-40°C to 380°C). The distance-to-spot ratio of 6:1 means it measures an approximately one-inch-diameter spot at 6 inches from the target (about 2.5 cm at 30 cm). NIST traceable calibration certifies measurements against National Institute of Standards and Technology standards.
