Spektrum Smart LiPos communicate health data and charging settings to Spektrum Smart chargers through a built-in microchip. On a compatible charger screen, adjust preferences such as charge rates, then press Start and let Smart technology do the rest. Smart LiPos use IC3/IC5 connectors that are compatible with older EC3/EC5 ports — without a Smart charger you can still enjoy convenient charging, but the full Smart feature set requires a Spektrum Smart charger.
