This is an R/C model assembly kit of the multi-purpose 425, a vehicle in the famed and long-running Mercedes-Benz Unimog series. The polycarbonate body captures with great accuracy the squared lines of the 425, including the boxy cabin and square headlights. The kit also includes separate parts to depict side mirrors and snorkel, plus metal-plated parts capturing the light cases and emblems. The all-terrain CC-01 chassis is matched with block tires for great performance on- and off-road. The CC-01 chassis features a full-time 4WD system with a longitudinally-positioned motor, transmitting power to the front wheels via the gearbox and to the rear wheels via propeller shaft. Front and rear differentials enable smooth cornering, and the rear differential may be locked during assembly for even greater off-road performance on rough terrain. The suspension employs double-wishbone front upper single links and lower H-shaped arms plus rear rigid suspension, with 4 CVA oil dampers fitted to the front and rear. The chassis also comes with cool black dish-type wheels and 94mm-diameter block tread pattern tires. The kit contains four 5mm-diameter LEDs to depict front and rear lights in the light cases. Over 40 Hop-Up Options are available to tune the chassis.

Responsive Handling

 The CC-01 features a realistic double wishbone front suspension system, just like a real off-road vehicle. CVA oil dampers provide smooth damping action and improve the truck's ability to soak up bumps and maintain traction.

Realistic Drivetrain

The authenticity doesn't stop with the scale body shell. The drivetrain of the CC-01 is just like a real car with power being delivered to the rear wheels through a propeller shaft, adding to the realism and driving enjoyment.

 The CC-01's 4-link rear suspension provides exceptional durability and stability for tackling tough off-road conditions. CVA oil dampers ensure a smooth and controlled ride, even over rough terrain.

This body shell comes completely unpainted and may or may not require body post holes to be drilled. Only use a polycarbonate-style paint such as the Tamiya PS series to finish these bodies, as standard paints will not adhere and/or cause damage to the body shell's surface.
