This re-release version of the Monster Beetle assembly kit features a number of updates while keeping the basic layout of the original off-road car released in 1986. It features a realistic customised Beetle body depicted in tough polystyrene resin, with metal-plated parts supplied in the kit to add the finishing touch for handles and headlight frames. A resin driver figure is the icing on top of the cake!

This model's rear-wheel drive chassis is based around a durable ABS space frame to withstand all-action off-road driving. 4-wheel independent suspension uses CVA oil dampers, with double wishbone front and trailing arm rear setups. 130mm-diameter, 58mm-width lug pattern pin spike tires on gold colour plated wheels provide superlative cushioning and grip. Efficient and durable universal shafts come with rubber boots.

High-Performance Suspension Shocks

The Monster Beetle boasts a robust suspension system with front double wishbones and rear trailing arms. High-performance CVA oil shocks provide superb cushioning and shock absorption, ensuring smooth and controlled off-road handling.

Protected Internals

The space frame chassis incorporates a dedicated dust & debris cover. This ensures that all vital RC equipment is thoroughly protected from dirt and debris, guaranteeing reliable operation and extending the lifespan of your electronics in any environment.

Universal CVD Driveshafts

CVD driveshafts significantly boost power transmission efficiency to the wheels. Their robust design also minimises the risk of them popping out during vigorous driving, ensuring consistent and dependable power delivery, even on the most challenging courses.

This body shell comes completely unpainted and may or may not require body post holes to be drilled. Only use a polycarbonate-style paint such as the Tamiya PS series to finish these bodies, as standard paints will not adhere and/or cause damage to the body shell's surface.
