Ever wonder what could have been? Back in 1985, at the first-ever IFMAR Off-Road World Championships, Team Associated's Jay Halsey drove a prototype 4WD version of the iconic RC10 to a stunning second-place finish. That car never went into production, becoming a legend of "what if" RC history. Now, that legend is a reality. The RC10 4WD Team Car kit is the buggy that never was, finally brought to life.

It all starts with the sleek black 6061-T6 aluminium monocoque tub chassis, providing a classic look and a strong foundation. Power is delivered through a smooth, low-friction centre belt drive system and adjustable ball differentials, while the long-arm suspension, threaded, oil-filled aluminium shocks, and durable CVA (Constant Velocity Axle) driveshafts deliver the handling required to compete at the world's best tracks.

Topped off with a clear Viper RC Buggy body, a driver figure, and vintage-style 4WD spike tyres, this kit is a nostalgic builder's dream. It's designed to be raced hard and can be fitted with modern brushless electronics, giving you the chance to finally experience the full potential of this legendary "what if" buggy.

Updated Chassis With Easy Access

The black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium monocoque (single-shell) tub chassis is tough and lightweight. It features new thumb ball nuts that allow you to easily access and change your battery pack, making pit stops quicker. The updated chassis stiffener and belt guide systems also ensure maximum durability and reliable performance.

Race-Proven Drivetrain

The RC10 4WD features front and rear race-proven Stealth transmissions and a durable low-friction centre belt system for smooth power delivery. Adjustable ball differentials at both the front and rear allow you to fine-tune the power split, while precision bearings throughout ensure maximum efficiency and speed.

Fully Adjustable Race Suspension

The car features a fully adjustable four-wheel independent suspension system, allowing you to tune it precisely for any condition. It includes long-travel, fluid-filled, hard-anodised aluminium coil-over shocks for maximum damping. Adjustable 3.5mm turnbuckles all around give you complete control over your setup.

Classic Look With Modern Downforce

The kit includes a clear polycarbonate Viper body with a driver figure for that classic racing look. A 5.5 inch (140mm) high-downforce polycarbonate race wing provides the grip you need on the track. Vintage 4WD (Four-Wheel Drive) spike tyres are included for both the front and rear, ensuring great traction right out of the box.

Full Tuning Capability

Customise your car's performance with a wide range of tuning options. The kit includes adjustable 3.5mm turnbuckles, adjustable ball differentials, and a race-proven V2 slipper clutch system. The new front caster and spindle assembly also give you more precise steering adjustment options.
