Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

With a separate servo controlling each surface, multiple mixing options are available (receiver/transmitter dependent), including full-span ailerons for increased roll authority, flaperons, spoilerons, and even crow mixing.

The EC-1500 is powered by a factory-installed twin brushless system, featuring a 40-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Dual Smart Lite ESC and specially-tuned motors. This robust setup delivers abundant thrust with a 3S 3200–6400mAh LiPo battery. Alternatively, you can install a 4S battery for plenty of power to hover and achieve unlimited vertical performance, all without needing any modifications or upgrades.

The EC-1500 features an operational, servo-controlled cargo door with a generous 65 x 107 mm (2.5 x 4.2 inch) opening and nearly 140 cubic inches (65 x 107 x 323 mm) of cargo bay volume. This allows you to carry and airdrop a variety of creative payloads, from parachute men to candy, adding an exciting and interactive dimension to your flights.

The EC-1500 boasts a total of eight factory-installed servos, including metal-geared servos on all control surfaces and the functional cargo door. Ball-link equipped linkages, combined with pocket or CA hinges on the control surfaces, deliver crisp and precise control at every speed, ensuring both accuracy and long-lasting durability for demanding flight manoeuvres.

The EC-1500 comes equipped with a full suite of factory-installed LED lights, including realistic landing, navigation, and simulated strobe lights. Powered conveniently by the flight battery, these lights not only greatly improve the aircraft's visibility in various conditions but also add a significant layer of authentic scale realism to your flying experience.

No glue is required for the EC-1500's final assembly, meaning you can have this impressive aircraft ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery. The two-piece wing, featuring an innovative hands-free connection system, bolts easily into place and can be conveniently removed with thumbscrews for effortless storage and transport, eliminating the need for tools at the field.

The EC-1500 features a fully-painted grey finish, serving as a perfect canvas for customisation. Included decal sheets allow you to personalise your model with authentic markings such as Ohio Air National Guard, Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines, and Navy insignias, creating a truly unique and personalised trim scheme that reflects your preferences.

Record stunning high-definition footage with ease using the EC-1500's integrated camera options. The magnetically secured nose cone provides quick access for installing action cameras like GoPro® Hero. Additionally, a dedicated mounting position on the large, magnetically secured top hatch is available for a separate First-Person View (FPV) camera, offering diverse recording capabilities.

The EC-1500 is a Skill Level 2 aircraft, perfectly suited for RC pilots who already possess some experience and the necessary skills for assembling, setting up, and flying similar class models. While the BNF Basic version includes optional-use SAFE Select, it is not recommended as a first-ever RC aircraft or a "next step after a trainer" model for low-time pilots.

Don't be deceived by the 60-inch (1.5m) wingspan; due to its generous wing chord and area, plus the large diameter fuselage and tail surfaces, the EC-1500 is a truly substantial model.
