HobbyZone RC Plane Apprentice S 700mm RTF with Safe Select Technology

This Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version provides everything you need to get airborne, straight from the box. It includes a controller/transmitter equipped with Spektrum™ SLT 2.4GHz technology, AA batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable lithium polymer battery for the aeroplane, and a convenient USB-C charger. There is genuinely nothing extra to buy, so you can focus entirely on the joy of flying.

The Apprentice STOL S 700mm is driven by a factory-installed brushless outrunner motor, designed for performance and efficiency. Compatible with common 2S 300mAh LiPo batteries, this motor provides ample power to fly in winds up to 5 mph, a significant advantage over other ultra-micro and mini-class trainer models, ensuring consistent performance.

The Apprentice STOL S 700mm is equipped with robust landing gear, including oversized tyres and a steerable tailwheel. This setup makes it possible to operate from a variety of surfaces that usually pose a challenge for ultra-micro models, such as grassy parks, gravel paths, and paved areas, significantly expanding your flying opportunities.

Get airborne quickly with the Apprentice STOL S 700mm. It arrives largely factory-assembled, with essential components pre-installed. The only assembly required involves sliding the landing gear into the fuselage and securing the wing with two thumbscrews, a process that needs no glue or tools and gets you flying in minutes after unpacking.

The Apprentice STOL S 700mm is a scaled-down version of the popular Apprentice models, specifically designed to offer impressive STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) capabilities akin to E-flite® Timber® series aircraft. Its ultra-micro size makes it more affordable and convenient, allowing more people to fly in a wider range of locations and smaller spaces, from backyards and parks to sports fields.

The Apprentice STOL S 700mm is engineered for longevity and resilience. Its airframe, made from advanced EPO material, provides a lightweight yet extremely durable build. This robust construction ensures it can withstand regular flying punishment, making it the most durable ultra-micro trainer yet. A full line of replacement parts is also readily available for any needed repairs.

This plane is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works seamlessly to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, providing a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger aeroplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-levelling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it easier to take off, fly, and land!
