The Ford Bronco has been sold since 1966, and the 2021 Ford Bronco was announced as the sixth-generation model in early 2021, 25 years since the last generation's release. Tamiya's design team chose to give R/C enthusiasts a replica of the best Bronco variant of this new generation: the 2-door top grade First Edition model. The First Edition Bronco combines the best parts of all Bronco series — the mechanicals of a Badlands, the interior of an Outer Banks, and the exterior of a Wildtrak. The Tamiya version sits on the CC-02 chassis for capable and fun R/C driving on the trails.

Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections.

Ladder Frame Chassis

The CC-02 chassis features a realistic ladder frame, inspired by full-size off-road vehicles, providing exceptional rigidity and durability for tackling challenging terrain.

Four Link Suspension

The CC-02's four-link suspension delivers outstanding performance and scale realism. Robust link arms connect the axles, while oil shocks provide smooth damping action and exceptional articulation for conquering challenging obstacles.

Adjustable Gear Ratio

Fine-tune the CC-02's performance to match your driving style and terrain with a wide range of gear ratios. Twenty different ratios, from 11.09 to 29.28:1, are achievable by adjusting the gear layout and utilising your choice of separately-sold pinions.

Durable Metal Chassis

The CC-02 chassis is designed for tough off-road action. Metal frame sections provide exceptional durability, while CVA oil shocks ensure smooth damping and maximum performance on challenging terrain.

Lockable Differentials

The CC-02 comes with robust axle housings that can handle extreme off-road conditions. Inside, 3-bevel differentials provide smooth operation, and they can be assembled in a locked position for increased traction when needed, ensuring you maintain control on any surface.

Front Mount Mid Motor
