The Toyota Land Cruiser 40 has been a staple Tamiya vehicle since 2008, first on the CR-01 crawler chassis and later the CC-01. Now it moves to Tamiya's newest cross-country platform, the CC-02, with detail tweaks for the scale enthusiast. The CC-02 chassis is built for various off-road terrains including rocky surfaces. Its ladder frame takes inspiration from real-life vehicles and provides excellent durability. The 4WD setup features a longitudinal motor placed behind the front axle, a separate gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to differential gears at the front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension comes with CVA oil shocks for control on rocky sections. This model includes matte plated seven-spoke wheels and block pattern tyres for better grip. New features include a roof rack with light pods, silver 12-spoke deep-rim wheels, and integrated tinted window sections on the sticker sheet.
