- Lightweight design using plastic parts including 0.7mm polycarbonate body
Tamiya is thrilled to announce the re-release of the Hotshot II, a 4WD buggy that first made waves back in 1987. This revamp brings a fresh take on a classic, following the lineage of Tamiya's groundbreaking 4WD buggies: the original Hotshot of 1985 and the Supershot of 1986. The Hotshot II, known for its lightweight design thanks to the use of plastic parts, is ready to hit the tracks once again and comes with a pre-painted black body shell.
The bright red front suspension uprights provide a striking contrast to the all-black body, adding a vibrant accent and a touch of racing flair.
The rear suspension is engineered for both performance and durability. Double wishbones with H-arms provide precise control, while independent CVA oil shocks on each wheel deliver a smooth and responsive ride over bumps and jumps.
The front suspension is designed for peak off road performance, featuring a mono shock setup with a horizontally mounted CVA oil filled shock absorber and stabiliser bar for precise handling and reduced body roll.
The Hotshot boasts realistic details, such as the metal roof with air intake and an included driver figure, improve the overall build experience and create a incredible scale vehicle.
The rear wing is designed for both style and function. Made from durable polycarbonate and pre-painted in black, it provides aerodynamic stability and enhances the car's overall appearance.
The body's distinctive wedge shape, a careful recreation of the iconic Hot Shot design, gives the buggy a classic and aggressive look. A dummy antenna can be attached to the right side for added nostalgic goodness.
