Team Losi Racing continues evolving the race truck platform with the new 22T 4.0 kit. Featuring new suspension geometry and a laydown mid-motor driveline, it is designed to win straight from the box.
The laydown layout is a 3-gear transmission that places the motor forward by 20mm or more to a central location, providing a chassis that drives much flatter and more consistently. The new wider 2.5mm aluminium chassis and moulded mudguards create a new battery mounting pocket, accommodating both saddle and shorty type LiPo packs mounted transverse across the chassis, or a shorty mounted fore-aft.

- Lightweight 2.5mm hard-anodised 7075-T6 aluminium chassis, pocketed for optional brass ballast weights
- Laydown 3-gear transmission places motor forward by 20mm+ to a central location for flatter, more consistent driving
- Gen II 12mm Big Bore shocks with X-Ring seals, machined shock bushings, machined pistons, and TiCN coated shock shafts
- Aluminium bleeder screw caps and threaded hard-anodised shock bodies
- Fully updated ball differential using revised parts from the 22 2.0 — with 2nd operation flattened outdrives, revised thrust washers, tungsten carbide diff and thrust balls, one-piece nut, and self-centring diff gear
- Adjustable rear pivots accept inserts for rear toe and anti-squat adjustments without additional parts
- Adjustable aluminium rear camber block
- HDS (Heavy Duty Slipper) with HDS spur gear (82T), grooved and tapered slipper plates, and heavy duty slipper spring
- Spindle with adjustable trail and Ackermann
- Rear hub with aluminium plate — hub base is moulded composite for press bearing fit and minimal unsprung weight
- Bell-crank steering system
- Two rear shock mounting options: in front of the rear tower or in the traditional rearward location
- Chassis designed to accept brass ballast plates below the battery for static weight tuning (weights sold separately)
- Moulded fan mount secured to mudguards for easy motor fan installation
- New 22T 4.0 pre-cut body in 1.2mm polycarbonate

This body shell comes completely unpainted and may or may not require body post holes to be drilled. Only use a polycarbonate-style paint such as the Tamiya PS series to finish this body, as standard paints will not adhere and/or cause damage to the body shell's surface.
