A classic reborn! This is the re-release of the legendary Tamiya Grasshopper, which for a lot of hobbyists from this era was their first RC buggy and helped set the standard for remote control cars from the mid 80s to late 90s. The Grasshopper features a basic but tough design with a range of optional parts such as ball bearings and 540 sized motors, enabling the user to customize and tune their Grasshopper. The Tamiya Grasshopper is still to this day renowned as being one of Tamiya's most legendary RC buggies. Tamiya have kept this re-released version of the Grasshopper as close to the original as possible, with the same bathtub chassis, sealed gearbox, independent swing axle front suspension and powerful 380 sized brushed motor as the original Grasshopper, with the only real difference being an updated TEU-101BK electronic speed controller. The Tamiya Grasshopper is a great introduction into the exciting RC hobby.
