The 22 5.0 DC Race Roller features a low-maintenance metal gear differential for optimal reliability and performance. Adjust the differential's performance characteristics with silicone fluid, fine-tuning it to suit your driving style and track conditions.
Experience unparalleled adjustability with the 22 5.0 DC Race Roller's rear suspension. Variable Height Axle (VHA) rear hubs offer roll centre and axle height adjustment, while the inner rear pivots provide further tuning options for roll centre, track width, anti-squat, and toe. This is the most adjustable rear suspension ever produced by TLR, allowing for precise customisation.
The 22 5.0 DC Race Roller boasts significant improvements in steering geometry, resulting in smoother and more responsive handling. Longer steering bell cranks and spindle arms, along with optimised Ackermann angles, provide a more consistent feel and enhanced control, especially at high speeds and in tight corners.
The laydown 3-gear transmission positions the motor forward for a more centralized weight distribution. This configuration results in a flatter driving chassis that carries more corner speed, enhancing overall performance and handling.
The 22 5.0 DC Race Roller features a milled 2.0mm aluminium chassis that provides the perfect balance of flex and rigidity. This optimised chassis design ensures smooth cornering, balanced handling, and bounce-free landings for a consistent and predictable driving experience.
