Nitro/Electric Compatible

The 8ight-XT is designed to be compatible with both electronic and Nitro parts, with chassis parts that can be easily swapped to suit your preferred power source.

Equalised Driveline

The centre driveshaft angles have been carefully adjusted to match front and rear, providing a smoother, more balanced 4WD driving experience.

Balanced Chassis

The weight has been moved forward in the chassis to provide a better driving balance to the vehicle and less parts needed to carry

Reworked Suspension

The 8IGHT-XT/XTE Next Gen suspension geometry has been completely revamped, making a truck that is fast, nimble, and easy to drive. This includes a myriad of updates, including wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, longer front and rear arms, and updated hub offset.

Ackerman Adjustable Steering Rack

The 8ight features a redesigned steering rack which allows more ackerman adjustments and an improved servo saver to eliminate bellcrank bind during high loads.

Machined Aluminium Shock Towers

The 8ight has been upgraded and fitted with newly redesigned machined 7075-T6 aluminium shock towers with updated camber link holes.

• Improved Suspension Geometry — completely revamped making a car that is fast, nimble, and easy to drive, including longer front and rear arms, wider front pivot with less scrub radius, narrower rear pivot, and updated hub offset
• Suspension Arms — all new suspension arms designed to accept stiffener plates to allow racers to tune the flex of the suspension
• Wide 3mm Chassis — chassis width increased to aid in stability and give the truggy a more neutral feel, equalised side to side for equal torsional flex and thinned down to 3mm for weight savings
• Larger Pinion Bearing — internal pinion bearing size in the front and rear increased for added durability
• Cab Forward Style Body — cab forward design helps with overall downforce, which improves steering and overall stability
• Chassis Side Guards — new chassis side guards with an improved fit onto the chassis
• Adjustable Castor Blocks — 17.5 deg castor blocks that allow the height of the spindle to be adjusted
• Bleeder Shock Caps — machined aluminium shock caps with threaded bleeder holes for easy and consistent bleeding of oil
• Steering Rack — redesigned steering rack which will allow more Ackerman adjustments and an improved servo saver to eliminate bell-crank bind during high loads
• Shock Towers — redesigned machined 7075-T6 aluminium shock towers with updated camber link holes
• Better Diff Access — front and rear diff case altered to allow easier access to the differentials without removing the bulkheads from the vehicle
• Sway Bar System — new sway bar system with adjustable length links to allow better equalisation of each side of sway bar, and collars that keep the sway bars centred
• Updated Radio Tray — puts the throttle servo near the engine to eliminate additional linkage; ensures the throttle servo is rigidly mounted to avoid any flex by floating the servo off of the centre differential
• Optimised Shocks — shocks are optimised and lightened to decrease the centre of gravity and lower the weight of the car
• Large Bearing Spindles and Carriers — all four corners updated to use large ball bearings and the same bearings
• Shorter Wheelbase — wheelbase shortened to aid in grip and provide more agile handling
• LiPo/Li-Ion Compatible Battery Box — battery box designed to fit either common LiPo receiver packs or Li-Ion receiver packs
