Overview
A classic reborn! This is the re-release of the legendary Tamiya Grasshopper which for a lot of hobbyist from this era was there first RC buggy and helped set the standard for remote control cars from the mid 80's to late 90's. The Grasshopper features a basic but tough design with a range of optional parts such as ball bearings and 540 sized motors enabling the user to customize and tune their Grasshopper. The Tamiya Grasshopper is still to this day renowned as being one of Tamiya's most legendary RC buggies.
Tamiya have kept this re-released version of the Grasshopper as close to the original as possible, with the same bathtub chassis, sealed gearbox, independent swing axle front suspension and powerful 380 sized brushed motor as the original Grasshopper, with the only real difference being an updated TEU-101BK electronic speed controller.

This is a good little RC to start off with. Easy to build and quite strong. If you get bored with it you can make it brushless and let it rip!! So if you want a small RC to get started or just a product this would be a great RC to choose for all ages and intrests.

Tamiya grasshopper arrived quickly.
Was packaged very poorly.
