Overview

Born from the unarmoured Sd.Kfz. 11, the Sd.Kfz. 251 (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251) emerged as a vital workhorse for the German army in World War II. Designed by Hanomag, this armoured personnel carrier ferried Panzergrenadiers (mechanised infantry) into the heart of battle. With over 15,252 vehicles and variants rolled out by seven manufacturers, it became the most prolific German half-track of the war. Its impressive utility even prompted the development of the similar, but smaller and lighter, Sd.Kfz. 250 as a complementary platform.

Now, Trumpeter have carefully recreated this piece of military history in 1/16 scale, ready for you to build and display.
