Plane or helicopter — which is easier to start with?
Planes are generally easier. A stabilised high-wing trainer almost flies itself. Helicopters need more constant input to hover. Both have beginner-friendly models now, so pick whichever appeals more.
What do I need besides the aircraft?
If it's RTF, nothing — everything's in the box. For BNF, you need a compatible transmitter. For ARF or kits, you'll need a transmitter, receiver, servos, motor, ESC, battery and charger. The product listing tells you what's included.
