RPM Front Suspension Arms for the Associated Rival MT8 are designed to improve durability over stock Suspension Arms. By increasing the amount of material surrounding the inner hinge pins by 7% and increasing the width of that thicker diameter by nearly 40%, RPM delivers significantly stronger arms. The amount of material at the outer hinge pins was also improved by 28%, with width increased by another 9%.

The support beams also got beefier. At their thickest, stock Suspension Arms are roughly 1/2" (12.7mm) thick, but taper down on both ends — a loss of nearly 30% of their thickness at the outer hinge pins. RPM Suspension Arms are a full 1/2" (12.7mm) over nearly their entire length, tapering only slightly at the inner hinge pins (.45" or 11.43mm at their narrowest) to match the maximum size allowable of the inner hinge pin bosses. Four massive support beams instead of two make RPM MT8 Suspension Arms the toughest alternative to stock available.
