The Tamiya XR311 is a re-release of Tamiya's first off road specific R/C model, originally released in 1977. This 1/12 scale truck captures the essence of early RC history while incorporating modern improvements for an improved driving experience. The injection-moulded body carefully recreates the XR311's distinctive design, while included interior parts and a driver figure add a touch of realism. The 2WD duralumin chassis features a rear-mounted motor and rear-wheel drive layout, providing a classic RC feel. The battery is positioned down the centre of the chassis for optimal balance, while the 4-wheel double wishbone suspension with adjustable metal torsion bar springs delivers a smooth and responsive ride.
