Overview

Inspired by Akira Kogawa's prototype for the Kyosho Optima Mid, this replica buggy features his iconic peppermint green colour scheme with an unpainted body shell. Kogawa raced a similar prototype in the 1987 World Championships in Romsey, England, where the Kyosho team secured five of the ten spots in the main A final. This prototype was unique, as many production parts were not yet available, leading to the use of numerous CNC-machined aluminium and carbon fibre components, along with a modified Optima Pro body shell.

Now, For the 60th anniversary of Kyosho, Kyosho have recreated this iconic buggy in kit form so you can build your own. Recreate the legendary Buggy or create your own custom version.
