Overview

Da Vinci's Catapult. The Catapult uses the elasticity of rubber bands to hurl scale-sized "boulders" up to 10ft and more! As a weapon of war, it took its power from the bow-shaped body and launcher-arm.

Leonardo da Vinci, born April 15, 1452, was an Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect & engineer who epitomised the cultural exploration and innovativeness of the Renaissance period. While most known for his paintings such as The Last Supper (1495–98) & Mona Lisa (1503–19), he was also an inventor and mechanical engineer with inventions utilising modern science and technology centuries ahead of their time.

Build the mechanical inventions of Leonardo da Vinci! Leonardo3 recreates the original designs to produce a scale model that is accessible to all kit builders, from beginner to advanced and require no extra tools to construct the finished model.
